Let an agent read your errors, metrics and logs while you debug.

This is one of the genuinely good uses for an agent: paste a stack trace, let it pull the surrounding errors and the deploy that preceded them. The risk is not destruction, it is disclosure, because logs contain whatever your application put in them.

Before you install one

Three things that separate the servers here, none of which shows up in a description.

What can the token do besides read?
A lot of monitoring APIs use one token for reading and for administration, which means the same key that fetches an error can also silence an alert or delete a monitor. Most vendors offer a read-scoped token. Use it.
Logs hold secrets.
Tokens, session cookies and customer records end up in logs constantly. Pulling logs into a conversation pulls those with them, into a transcript that is stored somewhere else. Narrow the query rather than fetching the last thousand lines.
Queries cost money.
Log search is billed by scan volume on most platforms, and an agent that retries a broad query a few times can run up a real bill. Check whether the server lets you bound the time range.
